“ AVO Health was a subcontractor that worked with RTI International under the Health Systems 20/20 Project, on which Abt Associates was the prime contractor. In this capacity, they ably conducted data collection for a broad-based survey of civil society organisations working to mitigate and prevent HIV in Nigeria from February 2012 – June 2012. They were able to hire dozens of field workers and supervisors, conduct a training workshop, collect data from over 530 civil society organsations, and collate that data into a database during the life of the contract. Additionally, they conducted a number of in-depth interviews that were critical for the success of the survey. This work was done at both a high quality and a timely manner. AVO Health was also open and responsive to our questions, comments, and suggestions concerning all aspects of the contract.”
